Arrow, a new action TV series on CW Network that based on the story of a green hooded guy who is saving Starling City from corruption. Oliver Queen, son of Robert Queen, a billionaire, vows to his dead father’s promise. Robert handed over a secret diary, a list of the criminals to his son to protect the innocent people in the city. Oliver presumed dead for five years before being discovered alive on a remote island in the Pacific. He plans to clean up the dishonest-wealthy-powerful-criminals who are dominating on the city and corrupting innocent people. But the time he learns it’s not easy to protect a city alone. He teams up with John Diggle, a former soldier and assigned personal bodyguard to him; Dinah Lance, an honest lawyer and daughter of detective Quentin Lance and hope many more to add in the future episodes.
Spoiled high society, corrupted monopoly business world, shadow politics, power and domination… this TV series claiming the MODERN ERA that never defined before. Based on characters appearing in comic books and graphic novels published by DC Comics, ARROW is from Bonanza Productions Inc. I think in every city needs a hooded guy like Arrow to clean up the crime and save the innocent. Waiting for the next episode, are you?

this is one of my favorite new shows…there are so few worthwhile. but this one, timely given the state of current society, rises to the top.
Arrgh now living only a few miles from the Sherwood Forest I think its about time we had a Robin Hood type of fellow to reclaim some of the robbing of he poor that have lined the pockets of the rich, we need the world back in balance.. ..
Keep shooting Arrows of Truth into the world my friend ..
Sue
Arrow is an example of collective consciousness emission which never happens in reality. (AV)
Another movie, in series, using social pshychology is Person of Interest. Different actors – the same cliche. Have a look.
i have not had a chance to view it at all yet. But is this based on the Green arrow comics or something else?
Yes its based on Green Arrow comics, thanks courtney-commercial!
That is cool then I have got to dvr the show and check it out soon. i have not turned on a tv in some time except to watch videos or play xbox madden football. time to get back to the good stuff or atleast what I like.
Thanks for this timely review. loved the arrow character in Smallville, I’ll most definitely go after this series and see it. I’ve been looking for new shows to see, thank you.
Thanks for mentioning this new show. I saw it here in London and I can’t wait for more. I am taken by the whole scenario of Arrow growing into his destiny. The downer is that his mother is his greatest enemy. Very true to life, however, it also highlights the truth that we all can stand up for the innocent and know that it is worth it. I will love this show on so many levels. Where is the second episode?
Sounds good to me
Excellent article. Again, the rich… and the lack of compassion. Thank you Vikram. Your friend, Micheline
I didn’t even know about this show until your post. I’m gonna have to check it out now. Thanks
I was waiting for some kind of review to come out on this show
Glad you made one and now I do want to check it out!
Review is really refreshing. Also thank you for visiting my blog and liking my poem.
Sweet! I haven’t seen this yet but now I’m very interested. I love the concept of a modern twist on a classic story. Thanks for taking a look a my blog too!
Just checking your blog. Impressed!
Happy Thanksgiving weekend to you!
I really have to check this show out. I have co-workers recommending it, too, so it looks like I have to add it to my DVR.
Love Arrow. Have just discovered Nikita too – I know, I’m behind the trend, but that show is soo good!
Hi, thanks for checking out my blog. I don’t get any TV where I am except for PBS. Use to like watching some of the movies on there but lately they are just getting to R-rated on most of them. (BBC)
I haven’t seen this yet…sounds cool though!
Thanks forsythkid, its going really good. If you like heroic actions, its a perfect primetime solution!
I was quite shocked by how much I enjoyed Arrow and how much I found his sister to be so irritating! (lol) – but its good fun to watch and always best to watch two episodes at a time!
Yeah….i kind of like this series….its better they made a TV series rather than a movie for Black Hawk….
I am not one for action movies, leave alone made-for-TV-shows – but Arrow has certainly changed my mind. This series is full of symbolism and thought provoking subject matter.
I love the show and GA is my favorite comic book character! :3
I think it definitely borrows a page or two from the Dark Knight movies, but I feel these are better.
Thanks for leaving a comment on my blog. I love the Arrow, watch it every week.
